For some reason this was a more painful series to watch than the 0-4 to the White Sox.
Last year we took advantage of breaks. This year they did. Just that simple.

Ending on a 4 game losing streak is a tough pill to swallow. Fantastic season though. Astros baseball is still in the upper escehlon and we aren't leaving for a while.

What made that so rough to watch was the fact I just watched this team in person in Boston dominate the Sox. Just dumbfounded
Downer. Time to retool the offense. Way too much dead weight, particularly at DH and C. Hope Ted shows some development going into next season because we could really use another good OF. And also, buy Kuechel
Where does that rank on the list of postseason collapses? From "will the defending champs sweep their way through the playoffs?" to losing all three at home, almost entirely punchless, to bow out in five.
Stros laid down tonight. Very disappointing ending to a great season. Hope this gets under their skin and stays there for next year.
Good season guys. Hate to go out that way, I really thought we had shored up any holes this season and hoped for dominance.

What a follow up to an incredible world series victory. Ran into a crazy good team and the bounces (and calls) didn't go our way.
