Hate to be that guy. But what the hell did Cora do in Boston? Not screw up what was already there? They are making it seem like he brought this team back from the cellar.

Smart move. Walk the man with 1 out and go for the double play. Don't want to risk getting to 2 outs.

When is the last time we had a 3 up 3 down inning? Cleveland?

You can't give up 8 runs and expect to win. That's the bottom line
World Series Game 5.
Now kindly STFU
Only the stupid@sses that don't have a CLUE how important base runners are when trailing by multiple runs late in a game.jg07 said:how many on here would be giving Kemp **** for not going to second if he stayed at first?AGHouston11 said:AustinAg2K said:
I don't mind the Kemp play. He was trying to make things happen. It's better than sitting there with the bat on your shoulder.
It was a perfect throw too

And if I had told you before game 5 that the Dodgers would score 12 runs ... you probably wouldn't have expected to win either. More often than not, if a team scores 8 runs in a playoff game, they'll win. Of course there are exceptions
We still have a shot in this one, and we have the bats to do it. I'm just saying giving up 8 runs isn't usually a recipe for success

Thought you were giving up. My bad. I agree with you.

Well same result, serve up center cut on 3-1. Guess it's good he didn't do more with that pitch than a single.heavens11 said:
