Just a god awful at bat bailing out a struggling pitcher. We have given them 8 runs on mistakes, had two runs stolen from ourselves, and prevented ourselves from 4-5 runs from lack of focus. We deserve to lose.
We need to hold them to 1 run here after they get to two outs.

Look at the difference in approaches. Boston is patient and gets three straight walks to score a run. We swing at a pitch over our head and a ball that bounces on home plate for two consecutive outs.

This can not be said enough. The entire game changed in the 1st inning. They need to bounce back from it, but that was a huge swing
I'm amazed that this is going to a 5 hour game with out extra innings. Jesus Christ.

If we had their plate approach we would have 20+ runs. They throw a ton of **** and we swing at all of it.
