I mix all the time. Stros Jersey with A&M hat or vise versa

I posted this in the ALCS tickets thread, but in case anyone still needs tickets, here's what I have left:

Game 3, 430, Row 14 - 2 @ $129 ea.
Game 4, 409, Row 17 - 2 @ $129 ea.
Game 5, 407, Row 13 - 4 @ $120 ea.

That's what I paid for them plus fees, so hopefully someone can use them. I'd prefer not to sell any singles, but I will break the 4 for Game 5 into pairs if needed. They're listed on StubHub for slightly more (to break even after they take their cut), so if you want any, let me know so I can take down the listing.

The only time I double up on team gear (Astros hat and Astros shirt/Aggie hat and Aggie shirt) is if I am actually attending a game that those teams are participating in. Other than that I am always mixing my sports gear.

I'll change between games also. Only time I've mixed on purpose (not counting days where I'm just grabbing whatever hat is by the door or something) is last year when the Astros were playing while we had a game at Kyle Field. Had to go maroon shirt/astros hat that day.

The tequila sunrise jersey will be going on as soon as the Ags are done tomorrow.

I have a Aggie Night Astros hat from several years ago that is all maroon with the old Astros partial star. No one really gets that it is an Aggie Astros hat.

if I am going to a Stros game its usually a Stros shirt with an Aggie hat.

If I am going to an Aggie game I dont really go out of my way to wear Astros gear unless it just happens.

Saturday I will have on Astros jersey and Aggie hat all day.

The only way I'll mix it up is if I'm watching the games at a bar or someone's house. But last night I did wear an Astros World Series Columbia pullover with a maroon Aggie golf cap.

This is the way to do it. Don't mix teams.

Wear Aggie gear for the Aggie game. Where Astros gear for the Astros game.

If I'm at home, I usually wear the shirt or jersey of the team that's playing. For example, I'll wear my Aggie 1956 jersey for the A&M game then my Springer orange WS jersey for Astros game. I will change to different gear if things start going South.

Also, you only double up with the same team gear if going to the game.

Gattis' bat in PH situations against Sale and Price will likely be more valuable than Straw. Straw's only real use right now is pinch running and defensive replacement.

Straw made sense against the Indians because runs were expected to be at a premium with Cleveland's pitching staff. Boston -- not so much.

But we'll be playing the Red Sox with a lot better hitting than the Indians. They scored more runs in the regular season than anyone else. Gattis has just been terrible lately and his career numbers against Sale and Price are bad as well.

The Red Sox bullpen is all righties. Who is Gattis going to pinch hit for? It doesn't make sense to me.

The only real pitch hit situation against Price and Dale would be Reddick, but even then you could start Jake or Kemp over him if you didn't want Reddick seeing lefties.
