Uncle Charlie leads the ML in LOB% at 92.9%. He's 10th in WHIP at 0.93. 5th in BAA at .173, 6th in ERA at 1.94. And he's pretty clearly the 3rd best starter on the team.

The "AL" part of that makes it truly amazing. I've considered the same re: Cole's strike out numbers. These guys are mowing thru line-ups primarily without the benefit of the pitcher in the 9 hole... Stunning.

How many tweets or messages has she gotten from dumb idiots? How many people have already called her and her husband dumb trashy people for touching the ball? This isn't Bartman level, but that dude had to go into freaking hiding. I'm sure she and her husband have had some hateful things said to them in the last 24 hours. They are just lucky we didn't lose because of it.

She tried to pull an emotional guilt trip on anyone who question her. She could've just said he was shelling peanuts for my daughter but she had to capitalize FIRST GAME to try to go into untouchable territory. Really it doesn't matter if it's her first or tenth game in that context. I just don't like people like that personally.
Nobody issues an apology like that unless they feel like they have to defend themselves, which likely means people have gone too far in bashing them.

Nothing to apologize for. Plus we scored the run so no harm done nothing really to bash him for other than poking fun. He got escorted out and looked like he was pretty cool about it he's square with the house as far as I'm concerned.

My guess about her tweet is that she feels bad for her own reaction and the ridicule that he has gotten over that. She gave him an unbelievable beotch face and looked like she dropped an F bomb and probably (naively) did not realize she was on live TV. Bad enough when you brain fart and possibly cost the team a run, 100x worse when your paunchy wife shames you on TV.
It is sad if they are getting too much grief, but hopefully he learned his lesson and this teaches other fans not to mess with live balls. I have not watched the replay but seriously doubt he was helping the daughter and not really paying attention then all of a sudden had enough awareness after ball was in play to track the ball and reach over to try to grab the ball.
