Exactly but usually a borderline call will go to batter when that happens

Most K zones look high on Altuve.

That's because they actually are. Altuve gets a higher strike zone (more called strikes up and more called balls down compared to the rulebook zone), and really tall guys get a lower zone. Fangraphs published a piece on it last year.
