Morton has settled in nicely after the long 2nd inning. Let's see how he does the third time through the lineup. That's when he seems to lose it a bit.

This may be a little conceded, but I feel like in 10 or so years, ESPN 30 for 30 or whatever will do a documentary on either:
1) The Astros and Hurricane Harvey
2) Game 5 of the World Series
3) Depending on how the next few seasons go, a Moneyball type of documentary including the use of advanced analytics

Back to the game... there sure are a lot of fat people at tonight's game.
Quote:
"A lot of us were yelling 'One, one, one,' [for first base], and he threw it home to get him. In our heads, we were thinking he didn't have a chance. But in Alex's head, there's not a play he can't make, and it paid off in the postseason. He has that confidence in himself to make any play on the field. If that play doesn't happen, we might not get to the World Series."

I chalk up the banner unveiling problems to not having a lot of experience over the years unveiling banners.
We'll conquer you next year!!
I have been a ASTROS fan since '66, I know the pain I have felt through that time period.

Those Fertitta kids have it made...
Listed as co-owners of the Rockets, diamond club seats to every Astros game, and I'm sure they'll get perks at Texans games. Not to mention all the hookups they probably get around town because of their dad.
Must be nice
