I think last year he mentioned something about flipping Bregman and Reddick based on lefty/righty matchups.

With Stassi, there's hardly any need for Gattis to catch. Man I really hope Stassi can just be serviceable.

Not a great Pirates debut today for a couple of the Astros traded away in the Cole deal.

Colin Moran was 0-6 and the only Pirate without a hit. (They had 17 hits for the game.)

Michael Feliz got a blown save while giving up 4 ER on 3 hits and a walk without recording an out.

Keuchel is living way up in the zone, which can't possibly be on purpose. If I remember correctly he did this at the beginning of last year too.

Way too early predictions.

Giles will lose the closer job.
Keuchel will be the #4 starter by season's end.

This also doesn't mean we will crater or have a terrible season. I just see us making move for a closer at the deadline and LMJ and Cole having good seasons.
