Took the wife and it was the most insane thing I've ever been a part of. From the lowest of lows (down 4 to Kershaw) to the highest of highs. Better than any drug I could imagine. MMP was absolutely ****IN Rockin. I still get goosebumps thinking about it. I love how everyone in the crowd was hugging, high fiving no matter the race, sex, political opinions etc. Its what makes sports so amazing (until ESPiN try to ruin it) Something I'll never forget.

Lived in St. Louis - this is an ignorant statement. The attendance is high for the same reason Aggie Football attendance is high. Multi-generation baseball-crazy fans that view being Cardinals fans as part of who they are and stick with the team through good times and bad.

I am not a Cardinals fan, but I respect their fans' commitment to their team. They have also had plenty to cheer for in their franchise history. That helps.

Last I heard Sunday he was still out indefinitely and still hasn't done anything near full speed. He'll need an assignment but they don't have a timetable.

I literally could not care less about some ****ty ESPN SJW awards.

But seeing y'all discussing this made me go back and watch the condensed game 5 with no commentary. Best. Baseball. Game. Ever.

If it was the Cubs, Yankees, or Red Sox, it would have won. But it doesn't bother me because the unadulterated joy I just got from watching that game brought me back.

The ASG got Springer right and I think we explode out of a cannon in the second half. **** the Sox, I'm ready for October again.

The speech with all of the USA gymnastics girls who had been abused by Larry Nasser was actually really cool. USA gymnastics and Michigan State University are going to have some people put away for a long time.

1) so weird watching Gurriel's HR without hearing Joe Bucks's call
2) I love that this video included the long foul ball before Altuve's HR
3) I loved the emotion and HR pimping on both sides during the WS...except Bellinger and Pederson. I want to punch them in their faces

A women's hockey game winning best game over game 5 is beyond laughable. I'm not even sure if they were all topless and bottomless skating on ice if it would have been better than game five. Just proves that these Awards overall are a joke

If you take away how popular the two sports are, I actually don't really have a problem with the hockey game winning best game. It was pretty epic and it was for the gold medal. If game 5 were game 7 (or the Rose Bowl would have been the championship game) I think they easily could have won also.

Or it could be the liberal media, either way.

ESPYs are voted on by the fans, everything doesn't have to be political. I'm sure more Americans watched the Women's Hockey Final rather than Game 5, and that is how the voting turned out.
