Why is Kemp getting an off day against a righty? And in favor of Jake who's back to striking out on 3 pitches 90% of his ABs?

I get that Kemp played the whole CLE series but we could've sat him tomorrow against C.C.

maybe he's sore from diving into walls. Maybe he didn't hit this guy well in the minors. I'm sure there's a reason. AJ is not going to explain himself to the public on every move.

Probably has to do with Kemp playing every game since his call up and Jake not regular ABs after being hot on his MiBL stint.

Also it's a noon game after a 14 inning get away game so not a bad day to rest guys.

easy there Rickey Henderson, bad bounce off the wall right to LF who made a good throw and barely beat him to the bag. Little bit more difficult in real time than it looks.

Marwin will never have the wheels that Ricky had. If Marwin had been watching the play in front of him, he should have seen the ricochet off the wall & the short throw Gardner had to make. Not that Marwin would have scored anyway but that was an easy out for the yankees.
