That's the problem.

The selection at fanatics is awesome. They have all kinds of stuff I've never seen in stores. Maybe not as far as clothing but misc stuff like coffee mugs, ties, flags, beer glasses, etc.

Downside is the shipping takes fckin forever.

For me, the shipping issue almost doesn't matter. I tend to generally by things that are more timeless. I know I will not be wearing a 2017 World Series t-shirt 10 years form now. However, while I probably won't be wearing the hat with the World Series champions patch 10 years from now, the hat is a little less ridiculous to hang in a man cave than a t-shirt.

True and I'm the same way. I don't need my stuff for anything in the near future but at the same time it winds me up to pay for something and not get it for a month later (which is what it'll be by the time the last of it gets here).

I do agree with you though. It's pretty wild to pay for something as simple as a hat or shirt and hot have it arrive to you for 3-4 weeks. I absolutely agree they need to figure out a way to scale up their shipping requirements for large events like this.

Just to make clear - I wasn't trying to bag on you or anything by replying to your post. Just the first thing I thought to do. I just meant that I bought it after have read all of the issues people were having, and decided I didn't care too much. I didn't convey that well.

So at first, I was thinking that a 13 year old girl pretending to be a guy to write about baseball was pretty cool. But the online relationships she was forming with women is just freaking weird.

I know no one can know this for sure, but what are y'alls thoughts on the franchise's spending power going forward? We won't keep Springer, Altuve, and Correa if each goes for 30m per, but surely this WS title and (likely) deep run in the playoffs for the next few years will open up the pocketbook, right?

Altuve is a FA in 2020, Springer in 2021, Correa in 2022, Bergman in 2023.

I think we'll only do short term FA signings to keep us with roster flexibility to keep the core together.

Also have to think about Keuchel (2019) and McCullers (2021).

But there's a strong enough core to be contenders with just those guys by adding key vets at certain positions.

They'd be smart to get Altuve and Keuchel locked up now with front loaded deals to help when we have to pay Springer, Correa, Bregman, McCullers.

Doubt they made a special authentic word series jersey for a 3-4 year old to wear for a year before they grow out of it.

You might have better luck buying a jersey and adding the patch but it'll probably be way too big.

Game 5, no question. I had accepted a loss in game 2 so that was just fun to watch. Game 5 gave me hope and ripped my heart out multiple times.
