Is the Astros game at home?

I think it would be pretty awesome to be in College Station the night of a CFP win and be part of the insanity at Northgate, so if the Astros are at home, I'd rather experience winning the World Series in Houston. Downtown would be crazy after the game.

If the Astros game is on the road though, then I'd rather go to the CFP final.

This may have been discussed and I am not going 80 pages to keep up, but I think McCullers ian going to throw a Verlander/Kershaw like gem tomorrow. I say this because I think he has a football/playoff mentality that fights through crap.

One thing with McCullers is that you usually know pretty quickly if he has it or not. Going to have to locate his fastball well tomorrow because I'm sure the Dodgers aren't going to wildly swing like the Yankees.

But I like it. He'll definitely be amped up at the start.

Aggie Football without a doubt. That being said, it's a 1a and 1b scenario.

Technically, the Astros would not go to the College World Series... Sorry, I had to.

But, my choice would be Astros Game 7 -- but with a caveat. If the Astros already have a title and I have to choose, then it's Aggie football.

Seeing the Astros in a Game 7 for their first championship > Aggie football in National Championship Game

The Astros were my first sports love and still are.

Hinch has done a great job in the playoffs. I have disagreed with the timing of his starting-pitcher-hook at times, but they have worked out when we needed them to.

He has. My only complaint is not being more aggressive with a base running. Especially against Hills big kick and slow breaking action. We let him stay in a rhythm.

According to TMZ's sources it was an altercation that involved Hinch yelling and cursing at some Dodger fans that were trash talking the 'Stros... One witness said the altercation got physical. Cops were called but no one was arrested.

Sounds like a he said-she said thing. TMZ's "sources say" attribution leads me to believe they talked to a couple witnesses. They are usually pretty lose with their attribution.

The only real facts are what is coming from Pasadena PD being called for an "altercation" with "team management." That could mean a shouting match, fist fight, whatever. But, since the article doesn't say charges were filed -- it was probably no big deal.

Blows my mind that the roof decision is anything other than the Astro's sole decision. I may sound like a baby saying this, but I find it completely unfair that either MLB or the networks would force this.

I'm going to assume this means it was overblown and the cops probably just threw the instigators out and told AJ to get up to his room
