You know how you defend that play? You make a correct appeal, something most people learn playing little league. Carlos should have just been standing on the bag like it was first. By him going for the tag, he about blew the whole thing.

He would not have. He had to touch 2nd then 1st again.
We need springer to get going. To me he is the battery that runs our batting lineup. When he's hitting we are usually scoring runs in bunches.

We are up 2-1 in the series and tied 0-0 in middle of 5th and still have home field advantage
We have 4 hitters in a row (Marwin, McCann, Springer, Reddick) who have only a single hit in this entire series between them...nobody outside of Altuve/Correa is really hitting, but feels like a poor lineup design at this point.
