It was in an SI article about curveballs. The Astros (and Boras) had McCullers go to a specialist with the thought that the specialist would tell them that McCullers needed to throw less of his curveballs to increase his chances of staying healthy, but the specialist said there was nothing wrong mechanically with the way he threw the pitch and concluded he could throw them even more if they were so inclined.

Found it, it was in the Sports Illustrated story about curve balls earlier this year.

Last Aug. 2, McCullers left a start against Toronto with inflammation in his elbow, which was diagnosed as a strained ligament. He did not pitch again the rest of the season. McCullers's agent, Scott Boras, was concerned that the pitcher's frequent use of his power curveball was taking a toll on his elbow. So Boras brought McCullers to Neal S. ElAttrache, an orthopedic surgeon in Los Angeles.

ElAttrache examined McCullers. He asked him to demonstrate how he threw his curveball. Boras expected ElAttrache to tell McCullers to throw more fastballs. Instead, the doctor told McCullers to keep on snapping hooks.

"He thought the way my arm moves and the way I throw it and hold it, I actually do the least amount of damage to my ligament," McCullers says. "I'm not manipulating the ball with my wrist. That's where a lot of people get into trouble. I've got my wrist set, I've got my grip and I throw it right over the top like a heater. I'm letting it pronate the way it's supposed to."

Well something is causing him to breakdown and seeing as he's a pitcher, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that something he is throwing is not right for his body.

Lance only throws a fastball, curveball, changeup. Based on the movement, that was either a dirty 2-seamer, or a change up which he got movement but not velocity. He typically throws a change up at 88-90 mph. It seems unlikely to get that movement while throwing it harder. My guess is it was a nasty 2-seamer

Judging from ALDS and ALCS pricing sheets from the Astros site... there was about a 10-20% mark up from what season ticket holder face value was, to what normal face value. So the cheapest "season ticket" price is $140 for nosebleeds... I'd guess 170$ish for those same seats.

All I have seen is the pricing for season ticket holders, 28 game plan holders, and new holders. If it increases in a similar fashion you could expect anywhere between 80-120 dollar increase on average per ticket from ALCS to WS. Won't know for sure until Thursday morning I assume.
