Game 3: Morton
Game 4: Peacock / McHugh (depending on who gets used in Game 3)
Game 5: Keuchel
Game 6: Verlander
Game 7: Johnny Fullstaff

I'm just so freaking pumped that verlander gave our bullpen even more rest. The pen should be fresh and hungry for blood tomorrow

I personally would start peacock in game 4 with McCullers and mccugh both ready to roll.

If you decide to start McCullers the same goes for peacock and mccugh ready in pen

I think the bullpen being wore out in the postseason is an overblown thing. There are way more bye days in the playoffs, plus it's the freaking playoffs. You got all winter to recover.

But arms still get tired.

The real point here is if I told you that through two games we would be 2-0, and the only bullpen guys to throw would be Devo and Giles, I don't think you would have believed me. Especially if I told you Devo pitched .1 innings.

These two starting pitching performances were nothing short of legendary. Let's go win one (or two) to finish them off in New York.

I agree that arms do still get tired, but your playoff bullpen isn't normal either when starters come out of it regularly.

I think in game 3 we might see musgrove for around 2 innings if hinch wants to go with a McCullers/peacock combo in game 4.

But his athleticism to get there was unbelievable and the sure MVP.

I had originally thought that DiDi was standing on second and he was going there with the ball. Seeing from that new angle shows how off line that throw was to bring DiDi all the way to 2B.

Castro and Didi both calling for the ball in a direct line to Homeplate. Judge's throw goes to second base as if nobody had been on base and it was a routine double. Didi had to backpedal to second base to field the throw. I bet Jose would have stayed on third base if Judge had made a direct throw as he should have done

Either that or he forgot the winning run was already on base

The Yankees screwed up everything they could on that play. judge looped it over the cutoff man. He threw to the wrong place on the field. Didi short hopped Sanchez and Sanchez dropped the ball. In all of that they still had Altuve dead meat at home. The pop up slide by Correa saved it all.

C'mon bruh

This was a prime example of us being aggressive, forcing the issue, and making the defense execute to get the out.

As you said. They didn't execute and they didn't get the out. The pop up slide didn't affect the outcome. Poor execution did.

My FIL is a die hard yankee fan boy. I hope we score fifty million ****ing runs over the next two games and sweep those mother****ers.

It's hard for me to respect a team like the Yankees that does nothing but overspend each year for players. And all that dik sucking they get on tv annoys the **** out me.

Totally disagree. He popped up right into Gregorious and DiDi couldn't step into the throw. He armed it and shorted Sanchez.

Judge is doing everthing he can to not contribute. The Correa bomb was a perfect example. He didn't even get a jump on the ball. Dude is 6'7 and can't half ass jump to easily catch that ball. He may be an MVP player some day but he is being exposed on the national stage.

No. The correa slide was good hard nosed baseball. HE affected the outcome...not just the Yankees poor execution.

Yes, that slide was no different than a slide into second while the other team was trying to turn a double play.

Regardless, he is entitled to the base. If he had already gotten to the bag and been standing on it, he has no obligation to get out of the way. So the pop up slide is perfectly legal as long as he is on the bag.

Phenomenal article. They need to do whatever it takes to keep Beltran around after this season.

I don't think anyone is saying otherwise. Definitely a clean play, but the slide definitely has an impact on the throw. Had judge hit his cutoff man where he was supposed to, a Correa slide wouldn't have even come into play

Yankees said juuust the way they planned it, with Judge hitting the cut-off man with the best arm. That being said, hard to dislike Judge. Seems like a good guy.
