Everything for SRO around Torchy's deck and on the stairs was packed within about 40 mins of first pitch, all seating was taken 2 hours before first pitch. If you are SRO and want a sightline, get there at least an hour before, maybe sooner.spadilly said:

I would just buy a cheap seat. There were still some available yesterday up in the 300 and 400s for $60.

B) Houston sports fans still don't know how to be in their seats when the game starts. They were people just showing up to our section in the 3rd MFin inning. I'm sitting there trying to watch and they're just showing up standing in the middle of the aisle looking for their seats standing in everyone's line of sight. If you're going to show up an hour late come up between innings.

my complaint....everyone really getting into, and standing up and cheering and clapping for the 2nd out of the inning. it happened twice. Very anticlimactic. I guess I am being picky, but it was annoying me. That should be done for 3rd outs, or for every out in the 9th inning.
Someone yesterday posted a you tube link to the MLB feed. Troll back to the page here that is right at the beginning of the game. Right about 3:00 pm. I watched it at the office until I boogied at 4:00. So far my desktop hasn't shown any sign of the aids from unprotected sex.

AJ also isn't tipping his hand as to his game three and four starters. His usual starters grouping only includes Verlander.
I did drinks at V&A's. Parking was $8 with a receipt. Getting in was easy. Getting out took a while. Lots that close were easily $50+. I had 2 bourbons for that and still got great parking. I believe they open at 11.3B Paul 97 said:

Select the $6 lot at 1300 Leeland and walk over to the stadium. It's a bit of a walk, but after the game, there will be zero traffic where you are at, and easy access to 59.
Edit to add: the $50 lots around the stadium were stuck in non-moving traffic after the game. It didn't start to thin out until you got past Discovery Green walking south.
IIRC Pomeranz got hit hard more than just once or twice in that last outing. The balls just weren't landing.
At the game, and found a spot on the stairs in centerfield. Found parking for $20. It's going to be a good day

Me and 3 buddies bought tickets at 9 am yesterday for $60 in Section 152 after realizing why the hell were we not already going?! Best decision ever.

Are we sure Hinch didn't just write the date wrong yesterday? Has he ever used the same lineup two days in a row?
My parking recommendation is the same as during the regular season: park near 8th Wonder. Lots of free parking nearby, and if you have to use their cash lot ($10, I think), it includes a beer. You also avoid most of the postgame traffic.
