Only adjustment I would make is having Marwin switch spots with Gattis. Marwin is clutch with men on, and puts more pressure on pitching to Correa and Altuve

Obvious, but how great would it be to jump on Sale early and knock him out? It could happen. His last 8 starts have been all over the place.

i like him down there. He protects reddick and yuli. Give him an opportunity to drive in runs. Also gives Springer more of a chance to come up to the plate with men on base.

I don't worry too much about the top because Correa is there to drive them in.

With Marwin being where he is, you spread out the potential to drive in runs over two innings rather than one big inning.

True but none of those (except maybe Greinke but even he's a stretch) have the pedigree of Sale or Verlander.

There's also lots of pressure on the ace to go out and pick up a win in game one. There's even more pressure on the number two starter of the losing team to rebound. And then eventually, someone will start a win or go home game.

I get what you're saying about the WC games, though. Just found it interesting that none of the starters faired well after all posted pretty good seasons.

I have 2 tickets up in 409 that I'm not using. We got into the stadium with them but we bought better ones on seatgeek. So I'd have to meet you at the gate near the station enterance.
