I'm not sure why some of y'all are upset with Gregerson over Clippard. Clippard performed pretty terrible down the stretch, so it's not like he gave Hinch a reason to roll the dice on him.

Not that it means much, but Gregerson is the only pitcher on the 40-man roster who has a postseason save.
JD Davis has better metrics than all of them, so.....

it was Mchugh or Centeno.
He chose Centeno so Gattis can DH. Thats really all it comes down to.
If you are asking why its Gregorson over Mchugh, I dont know. He probably trusts Gregerson more out of the pen.

Playoff baseball is nerve-racking because it seems like it doesn't even matter who the better team is. It's a total crapshoot in the playoffs. A couple hot pitchers can take you to the World Series (i.e. the 2005 Houston Astros. That team didn't even win 90 games)
Half the office called in "sick" today and I've been swamped all morning because of it. If I don't get to slack off this afternoon, I'm gonna be livid

If BOS can't get a W with Sale on the mound they're in trouble. If they can somehow get to Verlander and steal a W it'll be a close series.
I think Sale's inexperience in the playoffs and high pressure situations plays a big part. Gotta get MMP rockin and make him feel it.
I'm gonna say Stros in 4. Think we drop one of the games in Fenway but otherwise a pretty smooth series win for the Good Guys.
