Not that it necessairly means anything, but the Friday ALDS games are either on FS1 or MLBN, if you go forward on the DirecTV guide, their TBA time blocks are for noon (MLBN) and 3 (FS1.) Could be an afternoon game either way.

TBS has blocks at 4 and 7.

We have quite a few players that aren't American, but that may be why there's not as much grandstanding. Baseball players, and as a result baseball culture, is much more multinational.

Baseball is definitely more multinational. And many of these players come from places that have seen true oppression, true poverty, true injustice. They know exactly how great of a situation they are in compared to much of the world.

Well and part of it is that a lot of those players are doing things for their home countries that people will never see.

That and the MLB doesn't have anywhere close to the numbers of African-American players as the NFL. That makes the NFL a better platform for that message IMO.

Yep. Be prepared to hear the same four stories over and over during the postseason. Along with potentially a few name mispronunciations, and probably a lot of east and west coast knob-slobbing.

Actually happy that the past three games haven't been offensive shows. Gives a little confidence they can win a close one in Boston.

Also, that was a great video montage to recap the season.
