Well the good news in all this is Boston will be 5 back with 6 to go and Rangers are dormi on complete elimination. Tomorrow could see a complete clinch job. Of course there won't be 3 people in the stands to see it but hey, lets don't inconvenience anyone.

Altuve will play again before the playoffs. You don't give him basically 2 weeks off and expect him not to have any rust. He will play a game or two against Boston.

Besides he needs to calm down a bit. He's been a tear lately with the ejections.

Being concerned with your teams well being is exactly why you get up and do something about a player hitting your star, after a warning, and not getting tossed.

Gomez is a tool. Here's his MLB HPB numbers. I threw out the AA and AAA games in between that were likely rehabs or just plain sent down.

3,7,4,4,2,8,10, 19 (his 2 big years with the Brewers as a hitter), 7, 5, 19 (this year)

He's had 2 aberrant years when he got hit more. And one is this year. Maybe, and I'm just spitballin' here, maybe the dumbass got hit a lot this year because he's acted like a jackass, and strikes out 30% of the time. He's diving in swinging from his heels.

So how many times has rangers pitching nailed an Astro this year? Particularly altuve? Is that something easily looked up?
