What's weird about this is I'm pretty sure the MLB has a universal vendor for ticketing and the websites. Like buying tickets from any team in the league works the same so it seems crazy that they wouldn't have the bandwidth for this...

based on the email I don't think it's a separate lottery system. I think if you registered for the first round, you're in the pool for every round.
