I know you kind of already came back and ate some crow, but man, this type of post makes me chuckle a lot.
Here are the injuries the Astros have had this season: Keuchel, McCullers, McHugh, Harris, Springer, and Correa.
They have 71 freaking wins up to this point in the season. 71. And they have not overcome injuries? And the only reason they are sputtering a bit at the moment is because TWO legitimate MVP contenders are out at the same time? What do you call this team if not really good to great?
Sometimes I feel like we need to step back and take a look at the whole picture. Yes, this team has some issues, but all teams do. Every team which wins a World Series has an issue or two.
Look, we get George and Carlos back before the playoffs. Hopefully Kecuchel gets right too. Hopefully Harris comes back and gets right as well. If Keuchel and Harris are right, we have what it takes to make a signifant run in the playoffs.

Meh, I don't mind the cliff jumpers, it's not really painful to read their posts and I understand where they're coming from. It would be terrible if this board got like the Premium Board where any sort of dissention is met with "How do you Fran/Sherman/Sumlin isn't the answer? Are you a Head football coach?".

Hinch needs to roll out the veterans and pound the pale hose into submission. Don't let up and start filling the lineup with all the AAA guys. They can get their AB's in Chicago after the 'stros have a big lead.
as an aside...Centeno has spent time in the majors each of the last 5 seasons. Would not consider him a AAA guy like the others.
