Trout has played in 67 games so far. And the Angels have 51 games left.

so the maximum number of games he could play is 118.

right now he has 298 plate appearances...if he reaches 502 he would probably be in the mix. Will be close if he plays in every game

Being disappointed in the last 20 games is not the same as what you were doing. Talking about losing the trade deadline like it's the only bearing on a championship and acting like every day after the deadline is just biding our time for a letdown is what gets you called down from folks on here. Let me making something perfectly clear to the negative nancies. These regular season games barely matter anymore. This team has been a virtual lock for the playoffs for over a month and every move being made is to make sure the club rounds into form by then.

That's two more months to get healthy, get Dallas and Lance back into form, and get ready for a WS run.

Of course he would have rather gotten a hit. That goes without saying. Never said he walked up to the plate intending to strike out. Just that he knows when to pick his spots on getting tossed.

I know you kind of already came back and ate some crow, but man, this type of post makes me chuckle a lot.

Here are the injuries the Astros have had this season: Keuchel, McCullers, McHugh, Harris, Springer, and Correa.

They have 71 freaking wins up to this point in the season. 71. And they have not overcome injuries? And the only reason they are sputtering a bit at the moment is because TWO legitimate MVP contenders are out at the same time? What do you call this team if not really good to great?

Sometimes I feel like we need to step back and take a look at the whole picture. Yes, this team has some issues, but all teams do. Every team which wins a World Series has an issue or two.

Look, we get George and Carlos back before the playoffs. Hopefully Kecuchel gets right too. Hopefully Harris comes back and gets right as well. If Keuchel and Harris are right, we have what it takes to make a signifant run in the playoffs.

Games like last night are what makes baseball fun. No clock, only 27 outs and Toronto just couldn't get the last one.

These are games that we will look back on during this great regular season and remember. It felt like the team needed a lift, and that was quite a shot in the arm.

Reddick's ejection did seem like a small turning point. I was watching with my fiance, and told her it's not smart to piss this team off. I'll also give blue credit for a much better strike zone after that debacle.

As for the how we did it, Osuna wasn't locating and left multiple pitches up in the zone. Our hitters were sitting dead red on a mistake up then we're ready to be aggressive on it. For example, go watch Bregman's first pitch triple. (And the smile on his face on third was pure joy)

On Centeno's AB, he did a great job of getting on plane with the ball, not an easy pitch to hit all the time being that far inside. Big props to the rook.

That was one of the most exciting endings I've been at live. The energy in the crowd after Reddick's ejection was great. Prior to that, to have so many hits but still be down was pretty depressing but it gave me hope that they could pull it off. Watching Beltran leg it out earlier in the game and then again on what could have been a double play to end it was pretty awesome. But to see him get home on Bregman's triple, and the reaction the whole team had to Bregman was a sight to see.

Whew...Catching up from Saturday and Sunday was quite the beating. Not sure why I put myself through that, but I made it out unscathed.

With 6 coming up with CWS and TEX plus getting George back I expect this to be a get right road trip.

I heard during the radio broadcast yesterday that Harris is now on a throwing program and will start working his way back, but any word on Lance?
