Yeah, I just turned on the game and saw the Yankees being shut out with 2 hits. Then I saw the pitch count and drew a blank.

26.25 pitches per inning over 4 innings, gotta be at least in the neighborhood of a record.

I'm sure there's more to it than meets the eye, but Yuli has one of the most chaotic, uncontrolled looking swings. Plus you never know where the bat is going when he starts running down the line. I feel like he was that kid in little league who made the ump pucker because his bat always got thrown at the backstop if he put the ball in play.

I thought I was the only one in little league who did that. It was all just an urgent reaction that I tried to stop but couldn't. Bat would go flying into the backstop about shoulder high.

Magically, the last year of Little League it stopped. Thank God, because it was as embarrassing as wetting the bed.

The bat throw last night was hilarious. Went flipping all the way out of the dirt onto the grass.
