With Devo going two yesterday he wasn't available. Feliz has been pretty reliable. Normally strike out prone Carter does his usual swing over the pitch and we're out of this thing. But the Yankees are still a darn good team.

Starters HAVE to go 6. Lance is a stud, but he has to be able to go 6 at minimum. Even on a night when his stuff isn't there.

I don't know why hinch continues to put in feliez with people on base. The guy has no clue where his off speed stuff is going that's why he always pipes fastballs because he aims the slow stuff with runners on base

It's a big deal because it's been done 20 times in a row AND because McCullers does this shlt every time he starts. 5 innings, 1-2 runs, and off to the BP to save him.

So the starter, one of the best pitchers in the league, gets pulled.. yet the reliever gets left in after every single batter makes solid contact on him.

Hinch has been great this year, but once again.. you let McCullers take care of his own mess.

ok, so 95. he was likely still working on a pitch count with it being his second game back from the DL. Plus he walked his last batter on 4 pitches to put 2 guys on with 1 out.

Healthy Lance? sure let him work one more batter. Nothing wrong with how that was managed.

Ya, he's shown zero signs of being able to recover a bad start to the inning.

With Devo unavailable, a gassed Lance is your best option to get out of that inning.

You think a guy that looks gassed, who has recently come off the DL, ahould stay out there with 1 out, guy on 2nd and 1st, right at 100 pitches, AND had a history of going on the DL each year since been in the majors should have stayed out there?

I guess if you don't need him for the playoffs then he should stay out there.

How about the dude also go 7 innings every once ins while?

I love the dude, but he's gotta go deeper into games.

I think once he goes in and he's burned he's gotta let him get out of it and eat some innings. That's why relievers get a bit longer leash. When the starter goes 5 you can't just start yanking relievers every couple batters.

Now we're in the 6th on our 3rd pitcher.
