The Astros situational hitting has improved x100 over this past offseason. Used to be that runners on first and second with no outs and then, two outs later, we were counting on a two out hit. This team finds many ways to score.

Marwin makes every position he plays look like his natural position. Sometimes a little rusty in LF but generally smooth as silk at every position. Really amazing in his versatility.

Crazy game. I haven't been able to watch much at all lately as work has really picked up. Company is moving me to Columbus, Ohio in two weeks. I'll definitely be getting MLBTV. Also going to make the drive to Detroit for the Saturday game up there. You guys gotta hold down the fort in the Tine till I get back in a couple years.

Been in Germany on vacation since Saturday. Every morning I wake up and check if the Astros won and read through the thread. Or wake up in the middle of the night and check the score.

Nice to see us get a *rare* home win. Missed TOFA though.

Crazy game last night and I'll just echo what others have said about Reddick. He's a professional ball player. So glad he was added and even more excited that he's locked in for the foreseeable future.

I also like what I've seen from Paulino (sans last night). I like what he's shown more than what Joe Musgrove has shown this year.

Also incredibly happy for George seeing him play his way into the ASG. I'll be the first to eat crow as I always saw George as a solid player but never one that was ever going to be a legit threat and 5 tool player. Had my doubts that he would ever reach his full potential. Man he's almost on a another planet right now. Good to see good things happen to good people.
