I am not sure what the final trade he is proposing. If its Martes, Tucker, Fisher, Perez, David, and Hernandez then I think he's on crack.

According to MLB.com that is our #1, 2, 4, 6, 7, and 13th prospects. We're not talking about Sale here. Geez.

I'm going to the game of thrones night vs the A's on the 28th. Devo bobblehead and they're going to have the actual iron throne from the show.

Yeah, it seems weird to trade for a SP when you'd be trading away a SP who was one inning away from a quality start in his first major league start. Especially for Quintana who's struggled all year. I doubt Martes is on the table unless its someone like Archer.

I think his final package excludes Fisher and Tucker.

If his trade is just the bottom 4 then I do it without a second thought.

Martes, Davis, Hernandez, and Perez is what I infer is the Astros part of the trade. I don't think I would be willing to part with Martes and Perez.

He's saying Martes, Perez, Davis, Teoscar.

He's essentially saying we don't want to move Tucker and since Fischer look like he could help this year let's assume we want to keep him.

I think if we see Fisher as a solid piece then we could manage to part with Tucker or vice versa. Start with Martes and include one of Fisher/Tucker then fill in from there.

Davis is fair game since Bregman essentially has 3B locked up and with our OF talent here and in the system we have room to make a nice package.
