Studs will go through dry spells. Would be nice to not have an offensive black hole at 1B during those times. Thats all Im saying.

We will probably have to suffer through Gurriel given his salary.

Also, how does one go about getting a really good seat behind the plate? I've yet to see any on any of the resale sites.

Apparently I'm an outlier here, but I think Gurriel will be fine. The guy hit pretty well last season after being rushed up to the MLB, and hit well in the spring (for what it's worth). He's struggled through 7 games, but so has Bregman, Altuve, Beltran, etc. Gurriel has been known for being a batter that puts together good at bats at the international level. Let him start seeing the ball better and give him more time before we pronounce his death.

I agree.

I really liked what I saw from him during ST. I know ST numbers don't mean anything but he passed the eye test and was putting together some really good ABs.

The diamond club seats are there, they just cost $500 a ticket on stubhub.

I wouldn't be opposed to that, but it's a lot like Devo in that he's so valuable where he is that it's hard to move him.

I mean to have his switch hitting bat and he's defensive versatility off the bench is pretty damn valuable.

The booze is the only thing that is unlimited there. Most are corporate owned seats, so rarely will you see many available through stubhub. Most are given to clients (shameless plug: like me!) throughout the year. My annual trip behind the plate is the day game the first week of May.

I highly suggest the insperity club seats. Cheaper than diamond club, all you can eat buffett, however the alcohol costs.

I used to be able to buy nosebleeds for weekday games and go sit in that section. But the head usher that I'm friends with moved to a less prime part of MMP.

My friend's family used to have season tickets on the first row of that part where it cuts in. Sat there once, it was awesome.

Sat all over the park too and it's tough to find a bad place to sit. Love the field box and behind the dugout, Crawford boxes are fun. Mom has her season tickets by the Astros bullpen (155) which is nice since it is its own 2-seat row.

I am interested to get out to my first game this season and check out the Centerfield Torchys deck and other new seating options.

Got a 2.5 year old and the last few years it usually means falling asleep in the chair in about the 3rd waking up to see big time behind or close game in the 7th or 8th... getting my 2nd wind to finish or going to bed if we are down.

Mine are seven, two, and seven months. All girls. All great sleepers. I wake up at six. I'm usually good on six hours of sleep. I gave up caffeine two years ago and found that I sleep better and not as much.
