Is there chance AJ makes some of these moves like throwing Sipp against lefties as a job security thing?
So when Sipp blows it he can simply tell Lunhow 'What am I supposed to do? I played the numbers we had perfectly.'

As frustrating as it is to see Hinch continually trotting sipp out there, I see it mostly as a Luhnow failure.

Are you guys still on board with Keeping springer batting #1? I missed the entire sabremetrics and advanced statistics movement, but back in the day, if a dude was a power hitter, you batted him in the 3-4-5 spot (Springer), and if a dude was a speedy high average guy (Altuve), you hit him 1st.

Yeah he probably fits the mold for a 3-4-5 hitter but history has shown as soon as you move him there he disappears.

His average and Ops were identical from the leadoff and 2 hole last year, with about 70% of ABs at leadoff

Look at his numbers when he's in the 3 or 4 hole
