I don't think he's saying that at all. Judge has been crazy good this year, and if anyone argues that, they're nuts.
However, the media is definitely loving getting their rocks off every time he does something noteworthy. He has gotten 10x the publicity of any other player in baseball this season
That being said, IMO Altuve obviously is the MVP and I think he wins it, regardless of how much attention Judge gets.
I understand why he's a top name in MLB. However, there was a point in the season when we were getting MLB and ESPN notifications about how he did in batting practice. I don't care who you are, how old you are, or how good you are, notifications like this are overkill and ridiculous.
In fact, I'd go as far as to say that the reason a lot of people don't really care for judge is because of the nonstop media attention
