I'm guilty of it too. It's frustrating on night like last night. But I'll take him over Gregersuck. Or even over last years Giles. Giles this year is like 25% better across every major category.

I think most everyone here would be happy to see him added, depending on what the price tag to get him would be...the Pirates are only 4 back of the lead in the crapbag NL Central, though, even though they are 35-40.

They're also about to hit a stretch of their schedule that gives them a good opportunity to get closer (after TB, they have 7 against SF and PHI).

A healthy 3 of McCullers, Keuchel and Cole would be stout, for certain.

Today will be the 3rd time facing Miranda this season...he's been tough at home this year (2.20 ERA, 0.918 WHIP compared to 6.56 and 1.626), but his one subpar home start was against the Astros.

I read earlier in the week that they don't want to trade Cole. Of course, just could be BS.

If I had to take a guess, it sounds like they aren't wanting to trade any of our top prospects(tucker, Martes, Paulino, Fisher, Whitley, and Perez).

Not necessarily. Depending on the market, you could probably get a guy like Ian Nova, Vargas, or someone like that for Teoscar and an arm.

You see those white chalk lines that extend from home plate? Anything inside those is fair and anything outside is foul.

It's not fair territory. It's the baseline.

So I'm running from a batting stance to first. I'm inside the grass but 6 inches to the infield side of the white line and I get hit with a thrown ball. I'm out?

And I think it depends on where the ball is thrown from. Think the rule is your not allowed to obstruct a throw.

So if it's from the catcher or pitcher on a bunt then yes. If it's from the SS or 2B I don't think so.
