Stros aren't working pitch counts like they did in Arlington. A shade under 15 per inning for Darvish last night, Martinez with 13.6 tonight so far. The way we're hitting we need to get into their pen.
Contrast that to last series with the Rangers, pitch counts were way in our favor I'm pretty sure.

In a normal game I think it's the right move. His velocity is shown to drop significantly wth multiple innings of work.
But with an overworked bullpen, I think he should have left Harris in. Only 15 pitches for 4 outs, he was dominating the batters, and you have a good shot to get 7 outs from him.
This offense is hard to watch so far this series

He got up in the pen, got up after the 1 pitch out, then would've had to get up once more.

I'm not mad at you or what you're saying... but these dudes are in the damn major leagues. What would it hurt to give him one batter and see how he looks? We need to play these games to win, and I feel like right now we are playing not to lose.

Hinch better start making the team stay in hotels when they have a homestand. Anything to get rid of these embarrassing offensive showings at home.
I know but that's like asking a closer to get a 6 out save because it's just 20 pitches and he's a ML pitcher. That's just not what they do. They're bodies and minds just don't work that way. It's not as easy as simply pitching XX pitches.
