This is why i'm worried. Not so much that Peacock, Fiers, Paulino etc aren't any good but they can't go more than 5 innings.

This makes 2 starts in one week the starter can't even get through 3.

That's just not gonna cut it.

He's all we have.

This BP is literally just looking for warm bodies.

We currently have 1 pitcher in our rotation who's good for 5+ and even he's never pitched an entire ML season before.

You guys can sweep it under the rug and throw out our lead in the division all you want but we're in pretty dire straits with this rotation right now.

I agree...it's triage right now with the starters, and hopefully Keuchel's injury isn't serious. The bats can't carry the load forever.

Maybe we can put a 6-pack on the board and steal this one anyway.

Well that was frustrating.
1. After listening to the Super Regional all afternoon, I had already had enough baseball by the time I reached the Juice Box.
2. At least the other two losses this week were competitive.
3. Is this how other fans feel when the Astros are in town?
4. At least we get fireworks.
5. I appreciated the Shooting Stars' Leia costumes.
6. I'm still trying to give away a ticket to Sunday's game. You'd think that would be easy.

You know what kind of drives me crazy when watching some mainstream publications talk about the Astros' success. There's been a lot of folks talking about how the Astros' process was OK, but it had a major flaw because they didn't sign any pricey free agents and Luhnow had to "learn" that it takes spening money on old players to win, finally. This is such crap. This team is built on guys that were drafted or developed by the Astros. Plus, Luhnow always said they would spend when the time was right. But some of these guys on national broadcast act like Luhnow/Crane had to learn the hard way and break their "process" by spending $ on free agents. Probably the same guys that ate up the Padres offseason a couple year's back and thought they were really going for it.

I've been home alone with my 2 year old since last Sunday, so I've watched a lot of MLB Central and ESPN Baseball Tonight. Also, he and I made a little road trip to see his mom who is working dance camps for these 8 straight days and I listen to the Ticket out of Dallas. They had CJ Nitkowski on and he towed the same line. Although, he was quite complimentary and even said Astros fans deserve a season like this. However, he brought this talking point back up again before they moved on from talking about the Astros.
