I have this feeling like the Astros are going to comeback, but it is hard to voice it.. As an Astros fan for a long time, I have experienced those gut punchers. I think the first few innings will really be the game.

Need to get it going early or that shaky feeling starts to creep in. Baseball is such a different feel than other sports. The amount of swings in momentum is so crazy.

It has the ability to bring you such joy and such pain. Kind of like love as oddly as that sounds. I never want to become like a few Cubs fans I know that couldn't even watch playoff baseball because the pain was too much to take.

I have taken many of long walks after devastating losses. Then I get mad at myself that I care that much. But I will be watching tonight at home with my son. Yelling and cheering on my Houston Astros!!!

The day break is a plus for the Astros. There's nothing more the yanks wanted than to play a 4th consecutive game rather than spend a day traveling.

Ideally...we win tonight. Have a 5 run lead going into the 8th and 9th. No Giles.

Interesting. I would have gone with McCullers/ McHugh in game 7 in a perfect scenario.

... Unless they think the McHugh success was just because he came in a game that was basically out of reach.


I guess that means that McHugh is the "long relief" tonight in an early exit or extra inning game situation.

I actually thought Morton was absoltely dominant for 3 innings, as always. those 3 runs were such bull*****


I would feel better about him for 2 or 3 innings than pretty much anyone at this point.

Morton's ALCS appearance was crazy unlucky. He pitched very well and had very little hard contact.

The only thing that I remember about him is that he got a base hit in his first major league at bat for the 'Stros. I remember watching it live after school with my brother. It must have been against the Cubs since it was a day game. Not sure why I remember that.
