I'm glad for this series against the Yankees. It's making people take notice of Jose and that he is truly a legitimate MVP candidate - not just that he's in the conversation because of his high batting average.

No, it is because he faltered down the stretch and Trout had an amazing year. He may or may not win it this year, but if he doesn't it isn't because he got screwed. We may hate Judge and make fun of his **** postseason, but what he did this year was impressive. He led the AL in HR, Walks, and Runs and was 2nd in OPS & RBIs.
Also, credit to Hinch for sitting McCann down for a night and trusting Gattis to handle the catching duties

I read where CC used to eat an entire box of Captain Crunch in one day. By the looks of it he's raised the bar to two boxes.

I have a feeling Maybin is going to be an unexpected major contributor tonight.
I like Maybin in the lineup... he's been very productive in his limited action. Even won us 2-3 games with clutch homeruns

To be honest, I'm not saying he is getting screwed this year or any other year. I agree Judge had an amazing year and is a deserving candidate. I think he's deserving if he wins. Also fine with Trout winning because that dude is the best player in baseball and Jose has struggled in September.
My point is that if that writer or some of the other writers paid attention to him, they wouldn't so shocked and have to admit he's better than they thought he was. My buddy works at Marriott Marquis I met him there for lunch back in July. Crazy nice bar/restaurant, and not a bad item on the menu. Awesome hotel in general. The pool is crazy up on the roof.
I really hate the 2-3-2 format. I get travel issues decades ago for teams and media. With charter flights travel is now a non-issue. Home teams could win every game and the higher seed could face elimination in game 6.
The travel issue is huge, even with charters.

I also hate afternoon games during weekday for lcs round. I do not think ratings would really be impacted if games overlapped in some way in the evening. It is not like the casual fan is going to leave work or rearrange schedule to watch afternoon game during the week anyway.
