Win the remaining series, and the Rangers are in. Most teams would love to have the A's 7 times for the remaining 10 games, but the A's are Ranger-Kryptonite.

I would be surprised if the Tigers win more than 1 game in the 2 series vs Minnesota.
They are bad and they are tanking -- that's a bad combo. You basically have to hope their bats explode in a game or two.
Feels like 8-2 is what's needed to have a good shot at this thing.

and I think a team that deserves the playoffs, should be able to sweep teh As here.

But it's always fascinated me how their rag tag teams always seem to be tough to play there. If I had to pick one place every year to not have to play on the road, it would be Oakland. It shouldn't be that way though.
DD better be in this line up the rest of the way. There's something to be said about the record of this ball club when he bats lead off. Offense isn't the same without him leading off.
I think it's a combo of the drums and random noises, the emptiness, and the foul territory.
