Most Rangers were on the side of Astros fans, criticizing the Astros' front-office for not making a trade deadline deal.
Astros fans know the DFW metroplex is offering what it can. The number of people in DFW I've seen on social media inviting fellow Texans from Houston to come stay with them is overwhelming. The Astros fans know the Rangers fans and the truth is out. Reid got ahead of things in a real crappy move and it will blow up.
Deshields came out on twitter to calm down both sides (and did so very well).
With that said, the umpires need to eject the first HBP tonight. I can see this stupidity getting out of hand.

While I like your optimism, people remember catchy headlines and have lost interest when the rest of story comes out. And this is a real catchy headline.

agreed - this isn't something that will cause bad blood between players.

I hope the teams can get together in solidarity before the game. Both teams have family members and friends impacted and we represent the state.

When i find myself wondering about the great mystery as to why Aggie athletics haven't had more success, i look south and realize the houston sports fan makes up the large majority of our support base. Then it starts to become clear.
Tampa Bay averages 15,000 fans per game. What's your guess on attendance numbers for tonight? 2,000?
