You can't assume the same outcome. If the tying run was on Odor may not have hit the HR
Gotta think at the very least DeShields runs out the same ball that Choo hit. I would just like to have one time where we get over .500. Can that please happen soon?
Not only did Banny take one of our hottest bats out of the line up, he also forced the White sox manager to pull a pitcher that had just walked 2 straight batters.

Non-displaced nasal fractures don't require any medical intervention, only time for the bones to heal themselves
They need to make Bush wear an ankle bracelet with an alarm that goes off if he leaves the mound for a popup. He should be used to wearing ankle bracelets by now.
Yep, we needed a minimum of three wins. We killed ourselves yesterday with all of the runners left on base in scoring position. Some of those were even in scoring position with less than two outs.grapespda2525 said:

Should have taken all three. Lose by a run, EXPLODE with 17 runs, and then lose by a run again. Lots of opportunities squandered in the last game. Then add to that that Gallo and Bush injured themselves on such a stupid, needless collision...

Gallo needs nose reduction surgery so this won't happen in the future.

I haven't seen an interview yet that quotes either Bush or Gallo, so it'll be interesting to see what they have to say and if they were "talking" during the play or if they both went on instinct and just collided.
But I'll give Bush some slack, even though the play should have been Gallo's to make. Bush is a former SS (first round pick) and is used to going for the ball. Plus, we had the shift on and Gallo was the only infielder on that side of the field. So you know in the back of Bush's mind he knows that Gallo has a lot of field to cover and that he (Bush) needs to help field that side of the infield. But if Gallo is/was calling him off Bush needs to let me make the play.
Yeah, I could see a scenario where Bush doesn't think Gallo is going to be able to get it because of the shift, and on the flipside, Gallo isn't expecting to compete with anyone else for the ball. So they are both getting after it, neither calls it and they collide.

From what JD said, sounds like a week for Gallo and at least 2 weeks for Bush.
Way more concerned with Bush than I am Gallo. Knee issues with a flamethrower is a bad recipe.
Bush hasn't played SS in over 10 years when I think it was in the California Penal league. Gallo's ball all the way, But Gallo should've called it.

They were talking on the radio about Lucroy's comments (no new comments AFAIK).
The ones already quoted on here.
They basically said it sounds like Lucroy got his feelings hurt that he didn't get a contract offer before the season. They believe the comments are basically an admission of Lucroy that he mailed it in. He didn't "give the team any love, once he realized they didn't commit to him."
They seemed to indicate it was less about clubhouse chemistry and more about the front office.
They said Jeffress indicated he didn't want to be here either and that he was glad that he and Lucroy were both able to get traded out of there. Pretty crappy after the Rangers stood by him after his DWI.
The radio heads also indicated that they didn't care, as long as Darvish liked it here and for Darvish to tell Ohtani how much he liked it in Texas.

BTW, in 15 GP with Colorado, Lucroy is batting .318 with a .456 OBP. He was .242 and .297 with Texas, this year.

I've heard of him, but don't know that I've ever really followed him. If I still had stars it might be worth seeing, but would likely only be statistical information.
He is 24 and Rule V eligible this offseason. He was not on the 40.
