This game is too weird for me. I'm glad Holland is out so I can cheer for the Rangers now. We have a contingent of around 25 of us that we got tickets from him. I was hoping for a no decision and a Ranger win.

This team is ridiculous.

So, if you just wipe the 1st inning out of the books, Perez has what 31 PC in 3 IP, 0 ER.

And he may end up getting a W.

I've personally always supported him, I never bought into the whole "shenanigans" affecting his game play, but I see how it would rub people the wrong way.

He really loves the game no matter how much people think he's just a goof off. He is such a good person and I know how much I ment to pitch well here.

Lucroy comments on the Rangers:

Lucroy should've been committed to a new contract. He's gonna cost himself 15-20 million this winter.

I've always supported Holland. I thought he was great and love his shenanigans. Having said that... he has lost velocity and hasn't figured out how to work around it. The games are fine if you are winning. When you aren't, it doesn't come across well.

Regarding Lucroy. I think he accurately assessed things. They went out and signed Chirinos for 2 years and AFAIK, they never made an offer to Lucroy. I was very hopeful for him, but the Rangers, IMO, never seemed to welcome him. Was he too arrogant? Did he just come in thinking he was going to save the pitching staff? I don't know. But it never seemed to work.

I've heard Chirinos is a leader in the clubhouse. Banny has indicated Chirinos is finally healthy and this is what they expected. Did that mean Lucroy was always just a stop gap until Chirinos was healthy?

I wish him well.

We'd have been willing to make a commitment to you if you had played worth essentially anything at all during your time here, Lucroy. You played very mediocre defense too. You are no longer a top flight MLB catcher and played yourself out of a commitment from us.

**** Lucroy. They paid a hefty price in prospects and he burned them. I hope he has to settle for a 1 year pissant deal

They missed the call because of the glare from their white wristbands - that they are wearing because folks are picking on them - because they are missing a ****load of calls.

It's a little hard to describe, but he badly misplayed a fly ball that hit the wall. He assumed it went over the fence as he jumped into the wall, but didn't realize that the ball bounced off the wall behind him and was actually sitting in the field of play.
