Not CJ and Raymond's best night. Not sure which one it was, but a few innings ago it was said that the Indians would likely not have struggled this year like they have if they would have re-signed him.

Yes, I'm sure they are missing Napoli and cursing the Encarnacion signing.

It was a routine ground ball to 2nd base. Gallo should be covering first. Only reason Hamels had to get to first was because Gallo took himself completely out of position for a ball that wasn't his.

Just a mistake by a guy not used to playing 1st.

Tough play all around, especially for how slow it was hit. A veteran first baseman would have probably covered the bag and let the second baseman take it though

I know our bullpen is a hot mess anyways, but we bring in a guy with the bases loaded that is averaging almost a walk an inning?

The real question is how do you as the manager bring in a reliever who has walked 12 people in 14 innings to a bases-loaded one-out situation

This is where Banister struggles with bullpen management. You really should bring in someone who is beter in high leverage situations. I probably would've gone with Claudio or Leclerc

Remember it was 9-2 going to the bottom of the 4th. The go-ahead run came to the plate in the bottom of the 5th. I'm sorry but thanks to the pen, this is not a playoff team

Bullpen is easy to make trades to improve but no reason to do so this year. All that's gonna do is mortgage the farm even more

Truth. No reason to keep Lucroy, especially with Chirinos playing good when given the opportunity.
