Kozma sucks, but his biggest benefit is that they don't care about his development and he's fine being a guy who may not see action for 5 straight games. With guys like Profar or Robinson, they want them being able to play and further develop.
If Alberto was healthy, he'd be here and Kozma not, but absent that, he's a fine guy to have around.

Kozma sucks and they don't have anyone else they don't care about wilting on the bench that can play the positions they need a body for.
He's not on the roster because they see anything interesting in him; he's just a cheap waiver claim pick-up to allow younger guys to develop in the minor leagues.

Assuming he doesn't miss any significant time, it looks like Beltre will get to 3,000 somewhere in late July (home vs. Baltimore and Seattle) or early August (away at Minnesota). I'll say August 2nd against Seattle.

I understand about you guys complaining Odor but I think he's just pressing way to hard because of that new contract. I know y all remember the year after Elvis got that contract he was just God awful. He's obviously settled down and no one here would say he's overpaid with the way he's played the last couple years. I think Odor will live up to his contract but it's probably going to continue to be a rough year for him.

Yeah, Beltre about the only guy on this team that I have no problem going gingerly into second base and getting tagged out.
