I know he's still young, but Gallo has to realize most pitchers aren't going to give him a pitch to hit, especially with the game on the line. He's better off just standing in the box and not even take the bat off his shoulder. Make the pitcher throw strikes

Seriously though. He could let these pitchers dig themselves a hole, then get a chance to park a fastball. The pitchers will eventually adapt and give him something to hit earlier. But for now, go with the old Julio Franco approach where you arent swinging at anything early.

Sorry but you don't pitch your closer 2 innings, especially after he blows the save. I can understand sending him out till he allows a base runner. But get him the **** out after that. We had too many other arms available.

Indeed. This team is a legit playoff contender and in the division race with a decent bullpen. How many blown saves is that now?
