MLB has a cap for Int'l signings which includes Japan and Korea, starting this year.

The pool will be in the $5M range and everyone will have the same limit. I assume they can trade their pool money.

Perez is a cheap SP for the next 3 years. So, if we have Hamels and pull in those 4, Perez would be good trade bait. I expected something in the 3.50 range, but he hasn't gotten it there. Right now a 4-5th SP and an innings eater if he can remain healthy.

At this point all Napoli is doing is stealing reps from Gallo. Napoli should only DH, and against lefties

Same scenario with Prince last season, except Gallo is ready for the bigs now. I don't know why this organization is so damn stubborn when it comes to sitting underperforming veteran bats for young up and comers.

We're 1 GB for the WC.

We've added Ross who... although he had a great outing tonight, I don't expect that every game.
We've added Beltre who is arguably the leader of this team.
We've added Gomez to the OF.

We've released Dyson. RPs are a volatile species.

We should be getting Hamels back. Easily our best SP.

We've upgraded in the Rotation, IF, OF and BP. And it didn't even cost us anything.

A couple BP guys at the deadline should do it.
