Excellent at bat from Rua. Wasn't biting on that outisde stuff, and the guy never brought it into the strike zone.

By the end of the year I expect that Napoli will have hit for around .240 with 20 to 25 homeruns.

For some reason, Griffin reminds me of Matt Garza and Yovani Gallardo, in that if they can get into the 5th while keeping you in the game, then it's a success. I just assume if Griffin is "on", then he'll probably go around 5.1 or 5.2 IP, while giving up 4 or 5 runs.

Eh... Garza and Gallardo were both legitimate #3/#4 rotation guys when they were in Texas.

Griffin may return to his pre-injury form, but based on what I've seen he's a #5 at best. He'll throw you a gem every once in a while, but the majority of the time the offense is going to have to put up 5+ runs to win one of his starts.

I think come mid-May we're gonna feel like the Rangers of old where the guys we're throwing out as #4 and #5 are going to put us behind the 8-ball most games.
