Wasn't really arguing about it. Martinez has a high enough sample size, there's really nothing he's shown flashes of -- he's been the same type guy for about 4 years now. His ceiling is a #5 starter. That's not a terrible thing to be.

The A's always seem to have that one frustrating outfielder who dominates Rangers pitching and makes our life a living hell.

It used to be coco crisp and now it's Khris Davis.

Davis just kills us. So frustrating such a spare does this to us.

It really is amazing how bad DD's arm is.

They need to study the Japanese relay system if they're planning on DD being in CF. Trout throws that guy out by 10 feet.

By 10 feet with a relatively average arm.

There's softball outfielders that have significantly better arms than DD. It's incredible.

As a power hitter, he's absolutely no spare. But I agree. So frustrating because it feels like we ALWAYS play down to the A's. They're always not good but yet we shuffle our feet against them

Maybe we can trade Nick Martinez to Oakland.

The thing about playing the A's, especially in Oakland, is they have tremendous foul territory. Power bats with fouls that would go into the stands in our park, are pop outs in Oakland. You have to adjust your game from a power game to a game of run manufacturing. Keep the ball in play, between the lines.

It is like the shift. You can either try to beat the shift, or hit right into it. We chose to hit into it.

IMO, it is as much a difference as having a DH or P hit. It should change your approach.
