I haven't looked at the map of the new stadium, but does it call for doing away with the road currently name "Nolan Ryan Expressway," or does it shorten it?

It would be a huge FU to Nolan from JD to shorten it, or do away with it.

So much was made of the way they departed and the credit given to Ryan, that it wouldn't surprise me. I like Nolan and all that he has done for the Rangers, but there is a certain smugness of infallibility that he projects that would make me laugh if JD did that. And it would completely unhinge those who project Nolan over JD.

Remember how they cut Joe Routt Blvd in front of the MSC? I imagine it'll be something like that when it's all said and done

Jon Daniels has zero to do with what happens on the roads around the Ballpark(s).

The Red Sox are desperate and they may continue into the winter being desperate.

I think this is something the Rangers have to consider---although I think this is more a topic for the off-season and a year from now---in order to best manage the long-term health of the roster. Time moves forward, franchises move forward, the fans will move forward, following the swings and bumps of the AL West standings.

But they get paid to make decisions and I'm just killing time during my office hours.

No matter the decision made there at the corner of Ballpark Way and Randol Mill, they need to be clear about where they're going and what they're trying to do. They can't afford to muddle this and make moves or non-moves with different players that don't squarely move the roster in the same direction.

I want to know DallasAg's thoughts on trading away Adrian Beltre so a big market team has $18 million less to give Yu Darvish.

Ross has a "blister" right as AJG is getting back

I would be totally fine if ABD took Ross's spot in the rotation. Although I guess with Griffin coming back, it seems as though that's probably where he'll slide in to the rotation.

The Red Sox have called up highly ranked 3rd base prospect Rafael Devers. (Aggie Kyle Martin's short stint with the Red Sox is over for the time being.)

Have to wonder if they'll be looking in the off-season for a short-term contract veteran 3rd baseman to hold them over until Devers has some more minor league at bats under his belt.

Royals added Trevor Cahill and a couple of bullpen arms.

And the Twins just made a nifty little pickup of Jaime Garcia for a 19 year old struggling a bit in his second year of rookie league ball.

Even if he's not very good, that'll help the Twins' down right terrible pitching staff.

Rumors 2-3 of their top 4 prospects?

I think trading Darvish essentially means the Rangers have conceded this season. Hopefully they'll get some great prospects from the Dodgers that could be ready for 2018

Lots of different reports out there though. Some saying he's been dealt, others saying the Rangers are not considering trading him

Where are the multiple reports? All I see is some random dude that is so unknown that he has to let you know in his profile that he reported some previous NBA trade and you should follow him.

It's from this morning...and haven't seen any other reports other than from MLBtraderumors.com mentioning a Rangers/Dodgers trade talk earlier. Figured I'd post as it's the first reports I've seen about him actually getting moved.

Mostly just headlines from random people on twitter. I won't believe anything until someone like Rosenthal puts it out there, or if I can get an update from Jon Blake
