There has been one player in baseball history to have 30+ HRs with an average less than .200 (Mark Reynolds in 2010). The Rangers have 3 guys with a reasonable chance of joining this "club". It's a been a weird year.

Right. If he fields it clean, he doesn't attempt to go. Then even with the butchered glove, they still have a good shot to throw him out with a solid relay. But nope. Butchers the front end of that.

6.2 IP / 2ER the final line for Yu.

You can continue to complain about how he's not clutch or doesn't have the will to win or any number of those cliches. He's a top of the rotation starter, not a shutdown ace. If/when he walks in free agency, I have a sneaking suspicion whoever slides into the new #2 starter role for Texas ain't gonna leave you feeling better.

That's fine. Whoever pays him is going to overpay. I don't think he's an ace. The guy just doesn't seem to have it upstairs. The bats did fail him today and have for the most part this year. But like I've said....it's always something with Yu.
