I don't pretend to know what Profar is worth, but if we could land one of the Braves SP prospects:

Kolby Allard (LHP-AA-19): 18GS, 2.98 ERA, 1.34 WHIP
Mike Soroka (RHP-AA-19): 17GS, 2.37 ERA, 1.07 WHIP
Sean Newcomb (LHP-AAA-24): 11 GS, 2.97 ERA, 1.35 WHIP
Ian Anderson (RHP-A-19): 15 GS, 3.78, 1.46

What we don't need is a soon-to-be FA SP in Jaime Garcia (30-16GS, 4.55 ERA, 1.354 WHIP).

I agree, Profar is going to settle in and be pretty good.

Good thing we tossed out that he could be available.

His ERA is down to 3.05.

SP ERA is now 4th in the AL.
1. Houston 3.86 (41-18)
2. Tampa 4.02
3. Boston 4.23
4. Texas 4.24 (30-27)

I think Lucroy should be traded no matter what, but if this road trip goes well

I could live with them going for a wild card

I'd rather see a fire sale tho

I think what will end up happening is we stay put. Max we sell is probably Lucroy and Profar. I could definitely see the team getting on a roll to start the second half.

I agree with what was said earlier, for whatever reason I think Profar is going to eventually be a very good player. It just may not be in a Rangers uniform unfortunately
