Heard a stat yesterday that league wide OBP is like .320. When the Rangers pitch to a 9th place hitter it's .328.

In other words, bat 9th against them and you're better than average.

We aren't out of it, but with this bullpen there are no good solutions, or solutions that I could say to myself that I trust day in and day out. If we did somehow win a WC game, the BP issues would flare up in a playoff series for sure. And I just do not think it is worth it at all to trade prospects for bullpen help. Dease's stats are two lines below Hans Crause's stats on that link you posted. They both pitched June 30, too.

That should have tipped you off.
