I just really don't think that it's mostly Hinch's fault. Sure you can argue substitutions, pitching change decisions, but at the end of the day, these players are completely LOST at the plate right now. The frustration at the plate seems to have transitioned over to all aspects of the team.
You can fire a hitting coach, I just really don't think that a hitting coach will influence the identity of a player at the plate. Maybe I'm wrong. What exactly do hitting coaches do? View film and correct stances and swings? You can preach "be patient", but that won't work if the player is pressing.
